Lonzo M. "Lonnie" Ralph

Lonzo Miller Ralph, 80, Martinsville, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 12, 2016. Born August 19, 1935, to Ida Belle (Kizer) and Horace Green Ralph, Sr., in Sumner County, Tennessee, he grew up in Ralph Hollow and graduated from Hendersonville High School. Lonnie married Barbara S. Russell on January 25, 1957, and received Christ as his Savior soon after on the way home from a revival meeting. Lonzo worked in skilled trades as a tool trouble mechanic for Detroit Diesel Allison for 31 years, retiring in 1986, giving him more time to fish.

Lonnie is survived by his wife of 59 years, Barbara; his daughters: Deborah Burks (David), Sandra Rush (Gerald), Rebekah Wright (Andrew), Erica Delk (Melvin), and one son, Wayne Ralph (Marci). He is grandfather of 13: Sandra, Thomas (Renae) and Matthew (Megan) Burks; Christy (Victor) Miquez, Nickolas (Linzi) and Ryan Ralph; Nicholas (Aly), Kayla, Shawna and Jadon Wright; Dominic, Blake and Brooklyn Delk. He was also great-grandfather of Noah, Conrad, Kiera, Bastian, Addyson, Elliana, Millie, Luke, Avery, Najwa, Levi, Waylon & Callie. He is also survived by his brother, James Ralph.

Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents, four siblings, and two grandsons, Josiah and Micah Wright.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 18 at Lifeline Baptist Church, Camby, Indiana, where he is a member. Family and friends will gather from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, June 17 in the life center at Lifeline Baptist Church. Burial will be at West Ridge Park Cemetery in Indianapolis.
