Lorraine Marie Marcinkus
91, of Indianapolis, passed away on March 21, 2021 at St Francis Hospital in Mooresville. Lorraine was born on November 21, 1929 in Chicago, IL to the late Marie Anna (Vaichikauskas) and Roy H. Michaelson.

A strong, tough and feisty lady, Lorraine was a proud mother who raised four children, Robert, Deborah, Russell and Pam and loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren unconditionally. She was known to have a green thumb and loved gardening, raising various vegetables and flowers over the years. She will be missed by all.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Marcinkus; daughter Deborah Van Wyk; a son Robert Marcinkus and brothers Roy Michaelson and Robert Michaelson.

She is survived by her son Russell (Shelby) Marcinkus; daughter Pam Van Wyk; grandchildren Jeff (Lisa) Van Wyk, Jason Van Wyk, Amy (Craig) Knox, Julie Scott, Joseph (Chelsea) Marcinkus, Daniel (Dorothy) Marcinkus, Nicole (Chuck) Thompson; 10 great grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.

According to her wishes she will be cremated and no formal services will be observed.

Final arrangements and cremation are entrusted to Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville.
