Maninder Singh Banipal

61, of Plainfield, passed away suddenly at home on February 13, 2018. Maninder was born on January 8, 1957 in Punjab, India to Bakhshesh Singh and the late Gurdial Kaur.

After moving to the United States, he worked in the trucking industry for many years, most recently with Central State. He enjoyed spending time with his family, reading, photography and listening to the old-time music of India. He was also a member of Gurdwara Gur Nanak Darbar Temple.

He was preceded in death by his mother; Gurdial Kaur and a son; Arshdeep Singh Banipal.

He is survived by his wife; Rajinder Kaur, son; Gagandeep Banipal, daughter in law; Rajdeep Kaur, father; Bakhshesh Singh, brother; Karam Singh Banipal, sisters; Parmjeet Kaur, Pritam Kaur and a granddaughter; Parneet Kaur Banipal.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 12noon at Carlisle- Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with visitation Saturday 10am until services.

Cremation will follow the services and inurnment will take place at a later date in his home country of India.
