Margaret Lilian Taylor went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 28, 2016, while surrounded by her family. Margaret, “Maggie”, was the daughter of Gordon and Debra Page.
Maggie was born on June 25, 1992, and for the 23 years she was on Earth she lived every minute of her life to the fullest. Her desire to explore took her around the world to Europe, Australia, South and Central America, and all across the United States. Her desire to help people in need led her to fulfill her lifelong goal of earning a BSN from the University of Indianapolis School of Nursing and become a registered nurse. She was always courageous, always bold, and always kind. Her compassion and joyful spirit inspired many, but especially her husband, Caleb Taylor, who will always remember the way she loved her family, loved to laugh, loved holding hands, and loved to dance.
Maggie is survived by her husband, Caleb, her parents, Gordon and Debra, her brother and sister-in-law, Zach and Melissa Page, her maternal grandparents, William and Frances McLaughlin, her paternal grandmother, Betsy Page, her beloved dog, Ebenezer Waffles, and many friends.
Being around Maggie was like feeling the warm spring sunshine on your face. She was love and kindness to everyone she met. She would not want you (the reader) to be sad about her leaving this world. Maggie is now experiencing more joy than is imaginable and is free from the disease that burdened her for so long.
Contributions can made in her memory to the University of Indianapolis School of Nursing.
Those of you who know Maggie know that she is a very private person. She never needed or wanted to be in the limelight. We will respect her wishes as we plan a very private family gathering. Visit www.CarlisleBranson.com to share a favorite memory or to sign the online guest registry.
