Marian L. Hofer

Marian L. Hofer, 65 of Greenwood and formerly of Mooresville, passed away Monday, April 4, 2016 at her home. She was born in Indianapolis to Leroy and Gladys (Kerr) Stanley; her mother precedes her in death.

Marian worked at the Plainfield branch of Citizens Bank for 31 years where she served as branch manager and retired in 1999 as vice-president. She was a past member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Plainfield. Marian loved animals, planting flowers and, most importantly, loved to spend time with her two grandchildren.

Survivors include her father and step-mother; Leroy and Pat Stanley of Indianapolis; her son, Andrew P. (Stephanie) Hofer of Plainfield; her brother, Dan P. (Brenda) Stanley of Mooresville; her two grandchildren, Emma and Andrew Hofer and her long-time companion, Joe Lockwood.

Family and friends will gather for visitation on Friday, April 8 from Noon until 3:00 p.m. in the chapel at Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville.
