Mark Joseph Davidson, 53, of Camby, passed from this earthly life unexpectedly and all too soon on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at his home in Camby. Mark was born in Indianapolis on September 3, 1970 to Helen I. (Starlin) Davidson and the late Larry E. Davidson.
He was a graduate of Mooresville High School. He previously worked for Ford Motor Company as their head of security and led their fire and safety department.
Mark was a collector. He collected all sorts of sporting cards and other sports memorabilia. A talented and artistic man, he enjoyed and was excellent at refinishing car interiors. He spent a lot of time dismantling objects and then putting them back much better than he found them. There was nothing he could not figure out. He also loved music, especially classic rock.
He will be forever remembered and missed by his loving family including his mother, Helen Davidson of Camby; sons, Alec (wife, Kaylie) Davidson of Greenwood and Sam Davidson of Plainfield; daughter, Liz Davidson of Indianapolis; brothers, William Craig (wife, Wendy) Davidson of Thornton, Colorado and Brian Scott (wife, Jan) Davidson of Indianapolis; and granddaughter, Emma Davidson.
He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Davidson.
All services for Mr. Davidson are private. He will be laid to rest in Mooresville Cemetery. Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory has been entrusted with the arrangements.
