Mary Ann Glessner, 85, Plainfield, Indiana passed away on January 21, 2022. Mary Ann would like you to know that her work here is done and she’s gone home to be with her Lord. She is rejoicing with those that went before her.
Mary Ann was born in Peru, Indiana on May 18, 1936, to the late Arnold and Helen See. She was a member of Plainfield Christian Church and loved to serve her church and community. She graduated from Peru High School in 1954 and married her husband Ronald of 65 years in 1955. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Don, Jack and Dan and their wives. Mary Ann loved being a stay-at-home mom and raising her two daughters.
She is survived by her daughters, Kim (Chuck) Muston, Kelly Mills; grandchildren, CJ (Kirston) Muston, Megan (Kyle) Westrick, Jordan Mills (fiancé Mike Felts), Connor Mills, Brandon Mills; great-grandchildren, Brinkley, Clark, Tate and Louna Muston; Cole and Sydney Westrick; brother-in-law, Morris (Ruth Ann) Glessner, sister-in-law Aileen Hunter and several nieces and nephews.
She loved animals and had several pets her entire life. After Kelly graduated from high school, Mary Ann went to work as a bookkeeper for Rhoades Beverage Company for 20 years. She was also a teacher’s aide for 2 years for Mooresville Schools and then worked in the high school cafeteria at Mooresville High School. She loved all the students she met.
Her Celebration of Life Service will take place at Plainfield Christian Church on February 19, 2022. The visitation is 12-1:30, with the service following. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Plainfield Christian Church at 800 Dan Jones Road, Plainfield, Indiana. Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory is serving the family.
The family would especially like to thank the Assisted Living Community at Worthington Place and Sugar Grove for their quality of care and genuine love for her. We are forever grateful.
