Mary E. Brickert

Mary E. Brickert, 72 of Mooresville, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2016 at Franciscan St. Francis Health in Indianapolis. Mary was born May 18, 1944 in Ellettsville to the late Charles L. and Mary (Fisher) Brickert.

Mary proudly served her country as a radio operator in the United States Army serving two tours in Germany. She also worked for several years at Nice-Pak in Mooresville. Mary was a faithful member of Good Shepherd Baptist Church in Mooresville.

Along with her parents she was also preceded in death by five brothers; Charles, Jr., Cecil, Richard, Ronnie, and James Brickert and her sister, Beverly Grider.
Survivors include two brothers; Paul F. (Shirley) Brickert of Monrovia and Dennis G. (Sandy) Brickert of Rockville; two sisters, Barbara J. (Bill) Bray of Circleville, Ohio and Clara M. (Duane) Carter of Cloverdale, Indiana; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Mary E. Brickert on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 from Noon until 2:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Baptist Church in Mooresville. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the church. Burial will follow at Floral Park Cemetery in Indianapolis. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the Building Fund at Good Shepherd Baptist Church; envelopes will be provided on Tuesday at the church.
