Mary S. Cramblett, 88, Mooresville, died September 21, 2012, in Meadow Lakes. Mrs. Cramblett was born November 3, 1923, in South Vienna, Ohio, to the late Elza Bartley and Pansey (Legg) Smith.
She was a floral designer for many years for Young’s Flower Shop and more recently had 20 years of devoted service with Gillespie Florist. She loved flowers and gardening, but above all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mrs. Cramblett was preceded in death by her husband Leslie E. Cramblett; brothers, Kenneth, William, and James Bartley; sister, Freida Ankrom; grandchild, Terri Wilson.
Survivors include her children, Leslie E. Cramblett of Beech Grove, John E. Cramblett of Ohio, Sherry Quinn of Indianapolis, Carla Petty of Indianapolis, and David Cramblett of Indianapolis; brother, Elza “Junior” Bartley of Ohio; sisters, Grace DeWell of Ohio, Violet McVicker of Ohio, and Julia Russell of Georgia; ten grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren.
The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m., on Saturday, September 29, 2012, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 12 p.m. Burial will be in West Newton Cemetery.
