Maurice G. Jackson

Maurice G. Jackson, 80 of Mooresville, passed away May 18, 2015 at Avon Health & Rehab. He was born January 11, 1935 in Paoli, Indiana to the late Charles W. and Lucille Marie (Beaty) Jackson. On April 16, 1955 Maurice was married to the love of his life, Anita Lucille (Davis) Jackson; she survives. Maurice and Anita were members of the Fairfield Friends Meeting for over 40 years, but most recently attended Camby Community Church. He worked as an electrician for more than 35 years at the Allison’s Division of General Motors. Maurice proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy. Other survivors include his two daughters, Maurita J. (Dale) Searcy of Mooresville, Constance A. (Scott) Fields of Mooresville; brother, Charles Larry (Sandy) Jackson of French Lick; sister, Sally Hope Brinkworth of Paoli; and two grandsons, Christopher S. (Sarah) Fields and Timothy C. Fields.
