Meagan Lee Horton, 25, Mooresville, died suddenly November 11, 2013, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Meagan was born February 3, 1988, in Indianapolis.
She attended Mooresville High School and graduated from Carmel High School in 2006. She studied education for a number of years at Florida State University in Jacksonville. Meagan was a waitress at Steak and Shake in Mooresville. She enjoyed playing poker, cycling, listening to local bands, photography, and was an animal lover. Meagan will be missed by her loving family and many friends.
Survivors include her daughter, Lumen Lynne Stine; father and step-mother, Steve and Missy Horton of Mooresville and Ronda Thompson of Mooresville; fianc, Joshua Stine of Mooresville; sister, Angela Horton of Mooresville; half-brother, Justin Horton of Tennessee and Jackson Phillips of Mooresville; step siblings, Max and Victoria Parsons of Mooresville; paternal grandparents, Robert and Betty Horton of Indianapolis; maternal grandparents, Fred Thompson and Sharon Thompson; many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m., Saturday, November 16, 2013, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, November 15, 2013.
