Michael Lee Disney, Sr., 65 of Indianapolis passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 due to injuries sustained in an accident driving his tractor trailer on Interstate 74 East. The son of Glen Lee and Allie Pauline (Golden) Disney, Michael was born in Indianapolis on August 12, 1951; his parents preceded him in death.
Michael was a truck driver for Buchanan Hauling in Indianapolis for several years. In his spare time, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle and spending quality time with son, Michael, Jr.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard E. Disney.
Survivors include his son and best friend, Michael Lee (Angela) Disney, Jr. of Evart, Michigan; his daughter, Ashley Danielle Disney of Indianapolis; three sisters, Judy M. Scholtes of Indianapolis, Peggy L. (Steve) Foley of Mooresville and Joyce A. (Jeff) Thurman of Indianapolis; two brothers, Danny (Liz) Day of Indianapolis and Alva (Angelique) Day of Indianapolis; and his precious granddaughter, Brooke L. Disney.
