Milburn F. Childers

Milburn F. Childers, 84, of Mooresville, passed away September 9, 2019. Milburn was born June 10, 1935, to the late James and Hallie (O’Neal) Childers.

Milburn was a member of Valle Vista Baptist Church. For many years he was a truck driver and retired from Roadway in 1997. Milburn was a member of the Teamsters Union. He enjoyed boating, hunting, fishing, watching a good western with John Wayne or Clint Eastwood, but most of all spending time with his family. Milburn’s debonair personality is going to be greatly missed by his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Barbara (Spray) Childers; one son, Paul Childers; siblings, Bob Jimmy Donnie, Steve, Billy Betty, Marilyn, Barbara, and Bonnie; and one great grandchild, Zachary.

Survivors include, his children, Richard Childers of Edinburgh, Bryant Childers of Indianapolis, Cynthia (Joe) Keith of Mooresville, and Angie (Matthew) Clark of Plainfield; sisters, Phyllis and Dorothy; 7 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and 12 great-great grandchildren.
