Mildred L. (McCormick) Davis

88, formerly of Mooresville, passed away October 5, 2018. Mrs. Davis was born March 29,1930, to the late Fred P. and Dorothy (Todd) McCormick.

She was a proud homemaker and enjoyed being around her family. She was an accomplished artist and could also play various musical instruments by ear. Mildred was a perfectionist and always took great pride in caring for her home. In her younger years, she modeled for Watson’s. She also loved animals and collected dolls, antiques, and Precious Moments. She will be fondly remembered by a loving family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Davis; son, John M. Davis; brothers, Freddy McCormick and John Warren.

Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Diane Davis Pfeifer; granddaughters, Megan Davis and Morgan Fox; great grandsons, Elijah Fox, Ezra Fox and Isaac Fox; a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Wednesday from 12-2pm at Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with services at 2pm on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will follow the services in Bluff Creek Cemetery, Bargersville.
