Mildred L. Moore, 92, longtime Mooresville resident, passed away peacefully November 17, 2018, with her four children at her bedside. Mildred was born January 17, 1926, in Indianapolis, to the late Iman Forrest and Emma Irene (Spellman) Graham.
She graduated from Monrovia High School in 1944. She was a proud homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Mildred had been a member of Eternal Life Baptist Church. She enjoyed word search puzzles, studying her Bible, and reading the Daily Bread. She will be remembered for her loving and compassionate manner.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Moore; siblings, Fred Graham, Robert Graham, Joan Brownfield, and Betty J. Touseull.
Survivors include her sons, Dennis W. (the late Ilene) Moore of Utah, Edward G. (Janice) Moore of Monrovia; daughters, Susan K. (Bob) Thatcher of Florida, and Sarah L. Abney of Indianapolis; brother, Richard L. (Terry) Graham of California; 13 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren.
Friends and family will gather Friday, November 23, 2018, 4 to 8 p.m., in the chapel at
Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. The funeral service will begin at 10 a.m., Saturday, November 24, 2018, at the funeral home. Burial will be in White Lick Cemetery.
