Nancy Ann Fields

86, of Clayton, IN passed away on April 19, 2023, at Hendricks Regional Health in Danville, Indiana. Nancy was born on January 21, 1937, in Indianapolis, IN to the late Norman and Ruth (Senteney) Bray. Nancy married her loving husband Ernest Fields on July 26, 1967.

Nancy worked for RCA for over 30 years. After retiring from RCA, she went on to work for Budget Rent-A-Car, where she retired in 2004. In her spare time, Nancy loved to fish, go bowling, read, travel, and take trips to the casino.

She loved family get togethers, playing cards, and games. She was not your typical grandma. We have endless memories of her at birthdays, holidays, and cookouts where there was never a dull moment, and lots of laughter.

She lived a full, happy life, enjoying every moment, making us laugh through our tears even when we had to say goodbye.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Norman and William Bray and sister Cecilia Vincent.

She is survived by her son, Richard A. Tanksley; daughters Jane Powell, Christina (Calvin) Worrall, and Michelle (Corey) Davis; 8-grandchildren, 14-great-grandchildren, and 2-great-great-granchildren.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
