Nancy M. Hartley

Nancy M. Hartley, 62, of Mooresville, passed away at Community Hospital South on September 29th, 2024, surrounded by family. She was born in Indianapolis on November 23, 1961, to the late Arbie and Ellen (Johnson) Hartley. Nancy graduated from Washington High School. She spent many years as a cook in several restaurants, including the Mooresville Eagles Lodge #3988 where she was a member. 

Nancy’s cooking extended beyond work, and she loved cooking for family gatherings. Taco Tuesday was always a win! Nancy enjoyed watching her TV shows, Sheldon, The Big Bang Theory, and Two Broke Girls. She also enjoyed tending to her flower garden. Most importantly, Nancy loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her caring heart and willingness to lend a helping hand.

In addition to her parents, Nancy is preceded in death by a brother, Bill Hartley. 

Survivors include her children; Sadie Mullikin-Brickley (husband, Robert) and Randy Pinkard; grandchildren, Austin, Skyla, Bruce, Jacqueline, and Norah; sisters, Janice Eastes and Judy Curry; sister-in-law, Barbara Hartley; and several extended family members. 

Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, October 7th, 2024, from 12:00 Noon to 2:00 p.m. in the chapel at Carlisle -Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville. Her service will begin at 2:00 p.m. with burial to follow in White Lick Cemetery.
