Nancy J Keefer

Nancy J. Keefer 69 of Camby, passed away Friday, January 30, 2015 in the comfort of her home. She was born December 2, 1945 in Elkhart, Indiana to the late Louis Michael and Florence Belle (Bixler) Schaefer. Nancy was a graduate of Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. She worked as a computer programmer for various companies and as an independent contractor for many years until she retired in 2011. Nancy was active in Central Indiana Real Estate Investors Association and Indy Property Investors until it recently disbanded.
Survivors include her children, Eric A. (Allison Burden) Keefer of Camby, Tamara L. Keefer of Camby, and Sabrina M. (Thomas, Jr.) Gornall of Cincinnati, OH; and her brother Louis J. Schaefer of Elkhart. Along with her parents, Nancy is also preceded in death by a brother, David Schaefer.
Family and friends will gather in the chapel at Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory on Wednesday, February 4 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. A memorial service to celebrate Nancy’s life will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
