Nancy Jean Plummer

Nancy Jean Plummer, 82, of Mooresville, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Plainfield Health Care. The seventh of eleven children, Nancy was born August 26, 1934 in Beech Grove to the late John and Mary (Aylward) Watts.

Nancy enjoyed working at Poe Brothers Cafeteria in Mooresville for 27 years; she retired from there in 2010. She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic. She enjoyed league bowling, having yard sales, playing cards, and going on cruises. Most importantly, Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend.

Along with her parents and all of her siblings, she was also preceded in death by her son, Edgar Charles Plummer; her daughter, Laura Jean McIntire; and her two grandsons, Ryan and Adam.

Survivors include her children, Rosemary J. (Doug) Jackson of The Villages, Florida, Max A. (Cyndi) Plummer of Newhall, California and Jo Anna Schultz of Mooresville; 11 grandchildren, Angie, Allison, Andre, Aaron, Miranda, Amie, Eric, Jameson, Matthew, Kelli, and Lacey; and 20 great grandchildren.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life Nancy Jean Plummer from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 27, 2017 in the chapel at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville. The memorial service will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
