Nancy Lee Petty

Nancy Lee Petty, age 65, of Martinsville, passed away Monday, March 30, 2015 at her residence. Born October 8, 1949, in Indianapolis, she is the daughter of Paul Lewis and Betty (Sweeney) Dietz. They survive. Other survivors include her husband, Donald Petty; her children, Sharon Thompson and Jason (Reba) Petty; her sisters, Susie (Kent) Van Sickle and Carrie Nowak; her brother, Jimmy Dameron; her six grandchildren: Cassie, Garrett, Samantha, Shelden, Jacob and Torey; and her four great grandchildren: Waylon, Damien, Dominic and Remi.
Nancy worked in customer service with Roadway Trucking and prior to that, was a secretary with Lilly Industries Incorporated. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren and she also loved playing bingo!
Friends may call Thursday, April 2, 2015 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Gary Lafary on Friday, April 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. with burial at Friendship Park Cemetery, Paragon.
