Nell Anne Wilson, 83, of Brownsburg, went home to be with the Lord on August 27, 2016. She was born in New Hartford, Missouri, May 9 1933, to the late James Samuel and Madge Inez (Dempsey) Riley.
Preceding her in death are sisters, Lucille Shepard, Rosemary Loveless, Naomi Hinghaus, Evelina James, Isabel Pottorff, Dorothy Dingerson, and Wilma Valley; a great-grandson, Matthew Anglin; and sons-in-law, Mark Anglin and David Ogden.
Nell enjoyed writing poetry, spoiling her 3 Chihuahuas Dotsie, Holly Belle, and Jimi Sue, but her greatest joy was traveling with her husband and spending time with her family. Memories of her sweet and humorous unconditional love will be greatly missed and can never be replaced.
She married Cleatus M. Wilson in January 1974 and he survives. Other survivors include a brother, James Riley of Plainfield; daughters, Rhonda Bayles of Danville, Marilyn Roberts (Bob) of Brownsburg, Rosa Ogden of Plainfield; stepchildren, Darryl Wilson (Lanette), Cherie Anglin of Taft CA, Lori Jones (Calvin) of Checotah, OK, and Amy Kerper of Garden City Utah; 20 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; devoted friends, Renate Briones of Maricopa, CA and Jim & Bonnie Brown of Danville.
The funeral service will begin at 4 p.m., Friday, September 2, 2016, at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 2 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Danville First Assembly of God Building Fund, c/o Pastor Phillip Bilyeu, 3399 E.
