Nicholas J. Foxworthy, 12, Mooresville, died July 27, 2011. Nicholas was born September 23, 1998, in Martinsville, Indiana.
He suffered oxygen deprivation at birth that led to a difficult life with cerebral palsy and brittle bone syndrome. Although his life was a brief one, he touched many lives and hearts and will be remembered for his love and strength. He attended Center Grove Schools and enjoyed watching SpongeBob, being read to, Nemo, trips to Tennessee, and spending time with his family, especially his grandparents. Nicholas’ short life has been an inspiration to many.
He was preceded in death by a great grandmother, Sandy DeMichieli.
Survivors include his mother, Michele Hayden Foxworthy (Adam Cook) of Mooresville and Bargersville; father, Keith Foxworthy of Florida; brother, Jakob Foxworthy at home; grandparents, Michael and Cheryl Hayden of Mooresville; Rick and Carol Foxworthy of Mooresville; great grandparents, Charles and Joyce Breedlove of Martinsville; Bill DeMichieli of Franklin; Gordon and Dolores Graper of Crown Point.
The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 30, 2011, in Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there Friday, July 29, 2011, 5 to 8 p.m. Cremation will follow the service at the Morgan County Crematory.
