Nina J. Cash

Nina J. Cash, 87, of Martinsville passed away on December 25, 2022. Nina was born in Plano, Indiana to the late Raymond & Toletha Fletcher on August 12, 1935. Nina grew up in her grandparent's home with her mom and siblings. She always had great memories of their home. Nina worked for Indiana Bell for a short time and also worked as a nurse’s aide in her younger years. She attended Corinth Baptist Church in Plano, Indiana as a child and young teen and Eternal Life Baptist Church after moving to  Mooresville. Nina loved singing in her Ladies Gospel Group and playing Piano. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, cooking, and canning. Her true passion was being at home with her children while they were growing up. Nina loved to crochet and quilt. All of her beautiful quilts were hand sewn with love.

Nina is survived by her daughter; Sherri (Monty) Stierwalt, grandchildren; Chyenne, Tracy, Cassandra, Shelby, and Taylor and great-grandchildren; Austin, Madisyn, Zachary, Kyleigh, Keeghen, Karter, Kinley, Marlee, Barrett and Elliott.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband; William L. Cash, Son’s Merle “Gene” Cash, and Gregory L. Cash, along with her siblings; Bobby Dale and Betty Lou.

A graveside service will be held at Mannan Cemetery on Saturday, January 7, 2023, at 12:00pm.  Memorial contributions may be made to Eternal Life Baptist Church, Mooresville.
