Norma Jean Trisler, 77, Mooresville, died August 27, 2014, in Franciscan St. Francis Health, Indianapolis. Mrs. Trisler was born February 14, 1937, in Indianapolis, to the late Vernon Ernest and Emma Pauline (Gant) Rippy.
She graduated from Ben Davis High School and worked for periods of time at Vonnegut’s in Indianapolis and at Miller’s Merry Manor in Mooresville. She was a member of Five Points Baptist Church. Mrs. Trisler enjoyed following NASCAR, crocheting, and was a proud homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Donald Trisler, who died in 2006; brothers, Donald and James E. Rippy, Sr.; sister, Marie Fleming.
Survivors include her children, Darrel W. Trisler (Sandra) and Kathy Jo Trisler, both of Mooresville; brother, Raymond Rippy of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Brian, Brad, Samuel, and Kenneth Trisler; great grandchild, Danielle Marie Trisler; special friend, Shirley Cox.
The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m., Saturday, August 30, 2014, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 12 Noon until service time. Rev. Don Endsley will officiate and burial will be in West Newton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Churches in Mission (envelopes will be provided at the funeral home).
