Norvin F. DuBois
91, of Mooresville, passed away on May 12, 2022. Norvin was born to the late Charley and Nora DuBois on September 13, 1930 in Spencer, Indiana where he grew up on the family farm. Norvin graduated from Patricksburg High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Norvin married his loving wife, Mary (Cassida) DuBois in 1959. They celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary in February. Norvin enjoyed working in the Sawmills with his father when he was younger. He also worked for Hoosier Veneer, was a dispatcher for McLean Trucking Company and eventually found his love of Real Estate where he was the Managing Broker of DuBois Realty. Norvin was a Member of West Newton United Methodist Church for over 50 years. He also enjoyed his time as a Boy Scout Leader of Troop 135, based out of his church home. Norvin was proud of the “Family Farm” in Spencer, Indiana. He spent much time there chopping wood, fishing, working the fields and relaxing with his family.
Norvin is survived by his wife; Mary DuBois, sons; Warren and Gary DuBois, grandchildren; Christopher, Nicholas, Courtney, Connor, Cheryl and Rachel DuBois and sister; Wanda Johnson.
Visitation will be held at Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service and Crematory on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 from 4-8pm. Funeral Services will be in the Funeral Home on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 12:00pm with visiting one hour prior. Burial will be immediately following at White Lick Cemetery in Mooresville.
In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions can be made in Norvin's honor to; West Newton United Methodist Church, 6843 Mendenhall Rd., Indianapolis, Indiana 46221.
