Pamela Jean (Perry) Cherry, 58, Indianapolis, formerly of Morgan County, departed on June 1, 2011, while traveling in Tennessee. Pam was born June 14, 1952, in Morgan County.
Pam was a 1970 graduate of Martinsville High School. She was employed as a team leader in the print mail division at Farm Bureau since 1984. She attended One Way Christian Church. Pam’s love for life and devotion to her family will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
She was preceded in death by her father, Rex Eugene Perry; brother, Homer Perry; sister, Belinda Jo Perry.
Survivors include her husband, David Cherry, to whom she was united in marriage September 10, 1994; children, Tammeria L. Hall (Rick Sheese) of Bowling Green, Indiana, Wendy M. Porter (William) of Camby, Herman C. Schmitt II (Matthew Hinshaw) of Brownsburg, Stevie N. Cherry of Indianapolis; mother, Margaret Perry of Martinsville; brothers, Jerry, Rex, Roy, Kenny, and Alan Perry; sisters, Brenda Myers, Janice Ham, Carol Burke, Rita Watkins, Tracy Perry, and Debbie Forrester; grandchildren, James, Jessica, Hannah, and Brennen; one great grandson on the way.
The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Monday, June 6, 2011, atCarlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 4 to 8 p.m., Sunday, June 5, 2011. Cremation will follow the service. Burial will be at a later date in the Mooresville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Stevie Cherry College Fund.
