Pamela S. Mertens

Pamela S. Mertens, 73, of Plainfield, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2017 at the Indiana University Health Simon Cancer Center. Born May 22, 1944 Pam was the daughter of the late John and Hallie (Butler) Mason. On May 6, 1995 she was united in marriage to Richard E. Mertens and he also preceded her in death.

Pam worked as an inventory manager at Belkin in Plainfield for 15 years. She was full of life, a free spirit, liked to have a good time, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Along with her parents and her husband, Pam was also preceded in death by her sister, Judie Townsend.

Survivors include her daughter, Lori Cinelli of Plainfield; her brother-in-law and caregiver, Peter J. (James) Bailey-Mertens of Mooresville; four grandchildren, Ashley Burgess, Dustin Hines, Taylor Wood, and Dillon Hall; and five great grandchildren, Brayden, BreAnna, Rosie, Lillie, and Dela Ray.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate the life of Pam Mertens from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 14, 2017 in the chapel at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville.
