Patricia A. "Pat" Barber

Patricia A. “Pat” Barber, 85, Paragon, passed away November 29, 2021. Pat was born July 6, 1936, in Indianapolis, to the late Carl McFadden and Zelma (Porter) Whitaker.

Pat was a proud homemaker who enjoyed many crafts during her life. She baked beautiful birthday and wedding cakes, along with various kinds of candy every year at Christmastime. She also enjoyed working puzzles. Pat always made sure her children were well cared for as they were growing up. She will be fondly remembered by a loving family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Barber; son, Jimmy Waddell; grandson, Christopher Stephens; siblings, Carl McFadden, Jr., Edith McFadden, and Mary Whitaker; step- children, James Jr. and Carl Barber.

Survivors include her children, Debbie (Mike) Ellis, Jan (Kenny) Weddle, and Mike (Teresa) Waddell; grandchildren, Jason (Crystal) Stephens, Adam Hall, Ann (Kevin) Cooper, Mandy Hall, Tammy (Troy) Payne, Johnie (Michelle) Waddell, Jr. and Justin Waddell; step-children, Danny, Randy, and Gloria; 12 great grandchildren; 6 great great grandchildren.
