Patricia Ann Hollin

74, of Plainfield, passed away on January 25, 2020 at her home. Pat was born on July 10, 1945 in Beech Grove, IN to the late William C. Carr and Belva Mae (Curbeaux) Carr.

Pat was the matriarch and the rock of her family. In addition to raising her three children, she worked as a teacher’s aide and in the cafeteria for Plainfield Community Schools for many years. She was also active in her children’s activities serving as a Cub Scout leader, Girl Scout leader and 4 H. She also stayed active in more recent years, participating in a bowling league every Thursday at Western Bowl up until the time of her death. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother and aunt. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Wilma Jean Kay.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Ottis Hollin Jr.; daughter Katrina Beard; sons Rick Hollin and his wife Diana, Chris Hollin; sister Carolyn Sue Ogden; grandchildren Brittney, Breanne, Brent, Brooke Beard, Luke, Sarah, Kiersten, Allison, Wyatt Hollin and a great grandchild on the way.

Visitation will be held Friday, Jan. 31st from 4-6pm at Carlisle- Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with memorial services beginning at 6pm Friday in the funeral home, with Chaplain R. Kurt Ennis officiating.

While flowers are welcome, memorial contributions may be directed to Carlisle Branson Funeral Service & Crematory to help the family to offset final expenses due to her unexpected death.
