Patsy C. Mitchell

Patsy C. Mitchell, 81, Mooresville, passed away December 3, 2018. Mrs. Mitchell was born April 17, 1937, in Martinsville, to the late Charles Lee and Monta Lee Miller.

She graduated from Martinsville High School. Patsy worked at Value Plus Drug Store, Murphy Breeding Laboratories, Mayflower, and for S &H Green stamps. She was also a member of the Mooresville Free Methodist Church. Patsy enjoyed playing the piano and especially was fond of her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ora Nelson “Mitch” Mitchell; son, Jon Glenn Davis; siblings, Charles, Buddy, Kathleen, and Winona.

Survivors include daughters, Leah (Myron) Barlow of Mooresville and Nyla Cooper of Anderson; son, Joe (Noreen) Davis of Brooklyn; 11 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild.

Visitation will be on Monday, December 10, 2018, 4 to 8 p.m., in the chapel at Carlisle - Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 11, 2018, with Pastor Jeff Newton officiating, at the funeral home. Burial will be in New South Park Cemetery, Martinsville.
