Patsy Rae Pemberton, 85, of Mooresville, passed away June 18, 2020 at home. She was born July 27, 1934, in Louisville, Illinois, to the late Farlon and Maxine (McNeeley) Bailey.
Patsy was a member of Mt. Gilead Church. She was the secretary at Mt. Gilead Church for many years. She was also secretary at North Madison School and Laboratory Supply. She was valedictorian of her high school class. Patsy loved reading, flowers and gardening, watching Wheel of Fortune, and was a great seamstress. Patsy also enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda Pemberton and great grandson, Preston Wickham; siblings, Jerry Bailey and Judy Neal.
Survivors include her loving husband of 68 years, Ralph “Elmo” Pemberton; children, Michael (Faye) Pemberton and Cindy (Jack) Abell; grandchildren, Lillian (Jeremy) Lantzer, Carrie (Aaron) Wickham, Andrew (Stephanie) Breedlove, Jonathon Breedlove, Titus (Samantha) Pemberton; and 12 great grandchildren, Corbin, Sophie, Emma and Colson Lantzer; Felicity, Jacquelyn, Hagan, and Lydia Wickham; Arianna, Isaac, Evelyn, and Olivia Pemberton.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, 12:30 to 2:30, at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. The service will follow at 2:30; Minister Terry Christ will be officiating the service. Burial will be at White Lick Cemetery. While flowers are welcome, memorial contributions may be made to White Fields World Ministries Inc. The family would like to thank everyone at Franciscan Health Hospice Care for all their great help.
