Paul E. Langley

Paul E. Langley, 75, longtime Mooresville resident, passed away peacefully December 5, 2018. Paul was born July 5, 1943, in Indianapolis, to the late James Ned and Ida Jane (New) Langley.

He graduated from Mooresville High School in 1961. Paul worked for Praxair (formerly Union Carbide) for 33 years, retiring as general manager in 1996. He also worked with Rose Tree Service through the years. Paul had been a volunteer firefighter with the Brown Township Fire Department. As his boys were growing up, he coached and was instrumental in the founding of the Mooresville Junior Football League and also volunteered with the local Boy Scout Troop 30. Paul was an avid I.U. basketball and Indianapolis Colts fan. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting, and always enjoyed the companionship of his dogs. He rode ATV’s and traveled throughout the United States on his Harley Davidson. Paul will be fondly remembered by his loving family and many friends.

Survivors include his wife, Nina (House) Langley, to whom he was united in marriage March 13, 1962; sons, Steve (Lisa), Tony (Tracey), and David (Dusta) Langley, all of Mooresville; sister, Janet Jacobs (the late Earl) of Mooresville; grandchildren, Samantha and Dillon; Alex, Grant, and Jessica; Gillian, Liam, and Carey.

Friends and family will gather Friday, December 7, 2018, 4 to 7 p.m., in the chapel at
Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. Rev. Dennis Payton will officiate the 11 a.m. funeral service Saturday, December 8, 2018, at the funeral home.
