Paul E. Scott

84, of Mooresville, passed away June 22, 2017. Paul was born May 25, 1933 in Tompkinsville, Kentucky to the late Jimmie and Ab (Short) Scott.

Paul worked as a dock worker and truck driver for 44 years before retiring in 1994. He was a member of Teamsters Local #135, Masonic Lodge #669, where he received his 50 year membership pin and The Eternal Life Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Rosemary (Adams) Scott, a son; Larry Wayne Scott, sisters; Ailean Bastian and Alean Kerr; and a special friend Toni Vanoy.

He is survived by his daughter Debbie (Paul) Pruitt, a son; Gary (Pamela) Scott, a sister; Jewell Searcy, six grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, one great- great grandchild . He will be greatly missed by his family and friends!

Services will be held Monday June 26th at 2:00pm at Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with visitation from 11am until time of the services on Monday at the funeral home.
