Paul F. Newcomer

Paul F. Newcomer, 56, Plainfield, died unexpectedly on Saturday, August 10, 2013. He was born November 13, 1956, to Richard and Marjorie Newcomer of Mooresville, who survive.

Also surviving are his son, Paul Matthew Newcomer (Betina) Newcomer and daughter, Christina Newcomer; siblings, Marsha Hubbs (Skip), Jim Newcomer (Sandy), Dave Newcomer (Cindy), and Nancy Murphy (Mike); nieces and nephews, Andrea Holom (Mike) and Alli Bault; Jamie, Missy, and Stephen Newcomer; Sam and Katie Newcomer; Emily and Will Murphy; great niece and nephew, Valerie and Spencer Holom; friend and companion, Connie Fisher of Plainfield.

Paul graduated from Mooresville High School and The University of Indianapolis. He taught art for 17 years for IPS, taught ceramics at the IMA and also gave pottery lessons- pottery being his first love.

A Celebration of Life Service will begin at 7 p.m., Thursday, August 15, 2013, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with visitation there from 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Plainfield Public Library, 1120 Stafford Rd., Plainfield, 46168.
