Pauline L. Norris, 79, Indianapolis, died peacefully at home October 25, 2012. Mrs. Norris was born January 4, 1933, in Indianapolis to the late Homer James and Fannie Belle (Kinser) Calvert.
She graduated from George Washington High School. Mrs. Norris was a proud homemaker and enjoyed various arts and crafts. She was a member and honor recipient of the Poor People’s Action Council for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy G. Norris; daughter, Janet Norris; sister, Clara Sanford.
Survivors include her daughters, Rose O’Brien (Dennis) of Plainfield, Patti Norris of Indianapolis; son, Ricky Norris of Martinsville; brother, Homer Calvert, Jr.; sister, Jean Johnson of Florida; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.
The memorial service will begin at 6 p.m., Monday, October 29, 2012, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 4 p.m. Fr. Glenn O’Connor will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation.
