Pauline Maners Livingston McCloud, 85, Mooresville, died July 22, 2012, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Mooresville. Mrs. McCloud was born October 23, 1926, in Owen County, to the late Everett and Opal (Brown) Maners.
She was a member of Gasburg Baptist Church, the Mooresville Eagles Lodge, and the Oder of the Eastern Star. She retired from McCloud’s Market, which she owned and operated for 46 years. She also worked as a cook at Pat’s Tavern for a number of years.
Mrs. McCloud was preceded in death by her first husband, Harrel Livingston, who died in 1959 and her second husband, Jerry N. McCloud, who died in 2004; grandson, Darrel Beckett; granddaughter, Marsanne Beckett; brother, Carlton Maners; sister, Geneva Weddle.
Survivors include her daughter, Pongie Moore (Loren) of Monrovia; step-son, Jeff M. McCloud of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; step-daughter, Joni M. Bunino of Onacock, Virginia; brothers, Chester Maners of Solsberry and Donald Maners of Whitehall; sister, Lorainne Martin of Solsberry; one grandchild; one great grandchild.
The funeral service will begin at 1p.m., Thursday, July 26, 2012, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 11 a.m. Burial will be in West Union Cemetery, Monrovia.
