Peggy L. Williams Wilson, 79, Monrovia, died peacefully at home November 14, 2012. Peggy was born September 1, 1933, in Hall, to the late Luther and Bessie Mae (Howell) Williams.
She graduated from Monrovia High School in 1951. Peggy was a bookkeeper for Dorsett Grain Elevator for 29 years. Always a hard worker, Peggy also took time to enjoy gardening, reading, antiquing, and attending garage sales. Peggy was honest to a fault. Her grandchildren meant the world to her and she truly cherished spending time with her family. She will be missed by all of her loving family and many friends.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by one infant son, Brice, and all seven of her siblings.
Survivors include her sons, Brad Wilson (Dannette) of Martinsville and Dean Wilson (Lori) of Mooresville; daughter, Angela Sharp (Rick) of Monrovia; grandchildren, Nathan, Elijah, Spencer, Sarah, Shaylyn, Alison, Josh, and Braxton; one great grandchild, Iris and Adalyn, who is on the way; longtime companion, Bob Stanley of Martinsville.
The funeral service will begin at 1 p.m., on Monday, November, 19, 2012, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 2 to 5 p.m., on Sunday, November 18, 2012.
