Phillip L. Thompson

74, of Mooresville, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2022. Phillip was born to Lawrence & Kathryn Thompson on February 27, 1948 in Indianapolis. Phillip was a graduate of Mooresville High School and went on to achieve his Bachelor’s Degree from Indiana University. Phillip served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam era. He worked as a Management Trainer for IPL for many years and later retired from Comprehensive Performance System. Phillip had a passion for golf and fishing, along with the Indy 500 and IU Basketball. He was loyal to his family and friends and had a great sense of humor.

Phillip is survived by his son; Patrick (Kathryn) Thompson, mother; Kathryn Thompson, granddaughter; Jamie Thompson, sisters; Patricia (David) Harvey and Linda (David) Van Aken, along with brother-in-law; Jimmie Fulkerson and many nieces and nephews.

Philip is preceded in death by his father; Lawrence Thompson and sister; Carolyn Fulkerson.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be planned at a later date.

Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville.
