Ralph C. Minnick, 83 of Mooresville, passed away November 8, 2015 at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born August 2, 1932 in Okemah, Oklahoma to the late Jewel C. and Alice Marie (Key) Minnick.
Ralph worked as a plumber for most of his life and was a member of the Plumbers and Pipe Fitters local union #440 for over 50 years; he retired in 1994. A true outdoorsman, Ralph enjoyed hunting, but his true love was fishing. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with whom he was always up to playing a good game of Dominos.
Survivors include his children, Ralph Dean Minnick of Plainfield, Bobby Gene (Wife: Carol) Minnick of Poland, IN, Debra Sue (Kevin) Loy of Indianapolis and Karen Lynn (Kenneth) Moore of Mooresville; eight grandchildren, Jennifer, Bobby, Shane, Mariah, Chris, Devin, Kaitlin and Taylor; nine great grandchildren and a host many loving nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Ralph was also preceded in death by his three brothers, Troy, Jimmy and Jesse; and his granddaughter, Millissa.
Family and friends will gather for visitation from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 12 in the chapel at Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory in Mooresville.
