Ray Wampler, 45, Monrovia, suddenly passed away August 8, 2012. He was born March 29, 1967, in Indianapolis, to Gail and Sandra (Smith) Wampler.
Ray was employed for 17 years at EHOB, Inc. and for the past 6 years was a plant manager at Mt. Olive Manufacturing in Mooresville. He enjoyed wood working, fishing, and sports.
Ray was preceded in death by his father, Gail Wampler.
Survivors include his wife, Marcia (Harmon) Wampler of Monrovia, to whom he was united in marriage on October 22, 1994; daughter, Jehri Wampler of Monrovia; son, CJ Wampler of Monrovia; mother, Sandra (Smith) Wampler of Eminence; sisters, Shelley Brown of Morgantown, Sheree Hendrix (Craig) of Noblesville; Lisa Langley (Steve) of Martinsville; nieces and nephews, Sam and Dillon Langley, Melinda Sly, and Nick Ooley; canine companions, Buster Brown and Lucy; and feline companion Oreo.
A funeral service will be held at 2p.m., Sunday, August 12, 2012, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 2 to 6p.m., on Saturday, August 11, 2012. Rev. Terry Crist will officiate the service. Cremation will follow the service at the Morgan County Crematory.
