Raymond Ralph “Ray” Lopossa
79, A lifelong resident of Mooresville, passed away on November 28, 2021, at Miller’s Merry Manor in Mooresville, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s. Ray was born on April 22, 1942 in Plainfield, IN to the late Lawson David Lopossa and Lenora Edith (Haworth) LoPossa.

Ray worked as a stock chaser for Allison Gas Turbine for 28 years, retiring in 1993. He enjoyed drag racing, golfing, movies and was a huge fan of Mooresville High School Girls Basketball. Additionally, he enjoyed hanging out with his nieces and nephews and loved the companionship of his many dogs.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sisters Maxine Johnson, Dixie Miller and brothers in law Jim Johnson and Bill Miller.

He is survived by his sister Nancy Miley and her husband Don Miley; nieces, nephews and extended family.
Graveside services will be held on Monday, December 6th at 11am in Mooresville Cemetery.
