Richard L. Beck

Richard Lee Beck, 80, Mooresville, died February 26, 2014, in the Richard Roudebush Veteran’s Medical Center. Mr. Beck was born January 29, 1934, in Morgan County to the late Orville and Helen (Baumann) Beck.

Richard proudly served in the United States Marine Corp and worked all of his life as a self-employed carpenter. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Debra Ann Curry; brothers, Donald, George, and William Beck.

Survivors include two grandchildren, Angie Payne and Jeff Garland; two great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Friends and family will gather Saturday, March 1, 2014, 2 to 3 p.m., in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville. The memorial service will begin at 3 p.m. in the funeral home. The inurnment will be held in the Mooresville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warriors.
