Richard “Rick” Newlin, age 65, of Indianapolis, passed away Thursday, October 10, 2013. Born November 20, 1947, he was the son of the late Ivan and Juanita (Wallace) Newlin.
Rick retired after working at various warehouses. He loved to paint and was a member of the VFW.
Survivors include his wife, Janice (Evans) Newlin; his daughters, Shelly Wildrick and Sabrina Youngblood; his brother, Bruce Newlin; his four grandchildren: Jessica, Bub, Jayann and Aubrey; four step-daughters; 19 step-grandchildren; and four step-great grandchildren, with one on the way.
Funeral services will be Monday, October 14, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. in the Carlisle-Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, with calling to start at 10:00 a.m. He will be laid to rest at Sugar Grove Cemetery in Plainfield.
