Richard S. Seidl, 60, Mooresville, died suddenly at St. Francis Hospital, Indianapolis, on November 28, 2013. Mr. Seidl was born September 26, 1953, in Huntingburg, Indiana, to the late Victor Seidl and Viola (Schwinghammer) Seidl, who survives.
Rick worked as the production manager at Rexam Plastics where he had been employed for the past 15 years. He was previously the service manager at Stouts RV. He was a faithful member of Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Greenwood. Rick enjoyed golf, traveling, trains, and creating holiday yard art. He especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Sandy Kaiser.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Patricia (Neal) Seidl; children, Geoffrey Seidl (Callie) and Christie Seidl, both of Mooresville; siblings, Carol Thompson of Elkhart, Thomas Seidl of Avon, Robert Seidl of Huntingburg, and Larry Seidl of Illinois; grandchildren, Milo, Berkley, and Elsie Seidl.
The funeral service will begin at 5 p.m., Monday, December 2, 2013, in Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, 5171 W. Smokey Row Road, Greenwood, with visitation there from 3 p.m. Cremation will follow the service, and the burial will be in the Mooresville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
