Rickey Joel Parsons, 63, French Lick, passed away January 2, 2022. Rick was born June 21, 1958, in Martinsville, to the late Mick Parsons and Doris “Juanita” (Randolph) Parsons, who survives.
Rick graduated from Mooresville High School and had worked for Thiesing Veneer, the Mooresville Treatment Plant, and most recently for Pluto in Paoli. He was a music enthusiast and especially liked Rock & Roll. Rick loved playing the guitar and listening to his favorite artists and bands. He enjoyed being outdoors and was happiest fishing, ginseng hunting, and deer hunting. Above all, Rick was a family man who loved to spend time with his loved ones. He will be fondly remembered for his love for life and big heart.
Survivors include his mother, Juanita Parsons; sister, Vicki (Willy) Henson; brother, Mike Parsons; nieces and nephews, Jacob Parsons, Sara Randolph, Nikea Randolph, Tayia Morgan, and Jackee Parsons; former spouse, Julie Parsons.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 8, 2021, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville.
