Robert “Bob” D. Schellenberg, Sr., 61, of Mooresville, passed away April 10, 2020 at home. He was born October 7, 1958, to the late Clifford and Clyda (Ritchie) Schellenberg.
Bob graduated from Decatur High School. He worked for Hamilton Brothers for over 20 years as a well driller. In his later years, Bob worked for Mother Trucker as a dump truck driver. He attended West Newton Full Gospel Church. Bob was known as an outdoors man. He would be found either hunting or fishing in his spare time. Bob always loved his family and put them first. His funny, stubborn nature is going to be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.
Survivors include his sons of Mooresville, Robert D. (Edna) Schellenberg, Jr., and Sean M. Schellenberg; stepson of Indianapolis, James D. Payton; brother of Indianapolis, Dan (Carol) Schellenberg, and Bill Schellenberg; sisters, Linda (Andy) Stephens of Greenwood, and Betty (Jerry) Cochran of Mooresville; and 3 grandchildren.
Due to the current restrictions on funeral gatherings, a celebration of Bob’s life will be held at a later date.
