Robert (Bob) P. White Jr., 78, of Mooresville, Indiana, passed away March 10, 2021 in the comfort of his home. He graduated from Pike High School in 1960 where he enjoyed playing baseball and basketball. After high school, Bob followed in the foot-steps of his father and uncles and went into trade school for ironworking. For 19 years, Bob “road the steel” and helped construct several prominent buildings in downtown Indianapolis including Market Square Arena and Indiana National Bank. For the following 30 years, Bob enjoyed working at Allison Transmission. He made many life-long friends here and golf buddies. He retired from Allison in 2009.
Bob had a passion for both playing and watching sports of all kinds. He bowled on a traveling league and he coached several of his daughters’ softball teams. Golf was certainly his favorite activity and he enjoyed getting out on the courses around town any time he could. Bob had a great sense of humor and an infectious laugh. He provided a fun-loving home for his families and his many pets. His family has many happy memories to cherish.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie, his two daughters, Julie (Andrew) Price and Pamela (Terry) Reeser, granddaughters, Hannah and Holly; his sister, Renee Inman, his stepchildren, James (Nicole) Bryant, Marcie Bryant, Tracy Bryant, Michael (Maria) Bryant and grandchildren Ella, Colin, Emma (Matt) Ziegler, Benjamin and Jackson.
Visitation is Tuesday, March 16, 2021, 12 Noon until 2 p.m. at Carlisle - Branson Funeral Service & Crematory. Chaplain Kevin Tomeo of Heart-to-Heart Hospice will officiate the 2 p.m. funeral service. Burial will follow in Clayton Cemetery.
