Ron Hall, 71, Camby, died May 1, 2014, in St. Francis Hospital, Indianapolis. Ron was born January 2, 1943, in Jackson, Michigan, to the late Howard Hall, Jr. and Bernice (Taylor) Mitchell.
He worked for Morgan County Feed as a foreman for a number of years and later worked as a heavy machine operator for Swinney Brothers Excavating. Ron had a lifelong love for horses and enjoyed rodeos. He was a hard-working man who believed strongly in providing for his family. He enjoyed camping and most of all spending time with his grandchildren. He will be missed by a loving family and many friends.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy, to whom he was united in marriage March 5, 1993; children, John Hall (Michelle) of Jackson, Michigan, Jim Hall (Suzanne) of Parma, Michigan, Candace Hall of Thorntown, Shannen Crockett (Gary) of Mooresville, Jeff Gordon of Camby, and Vicki English (Jamie) of Camby; brother, Larry Hyliard (Nancy) of Traverse City, Michigan; sister, Darlene Hall of Concord, Michigan; 14 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
The funeral service will begin at 7 p.m., Monday, May 5, 2014, in the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville, with calling there from 4 p.m. Rev. Terry Crist will officiate the service, and cremation will follow at the Morgan County Crematory, Mooresville. Memorial contributions may be made to the MG House, 31 Indianapolis Road, Mooresville.
