Ron L. Hutcheson

Ron L. Hutcheson, 83, Plainfield, passed away peacefully at home August 30, 2021. Ron was born December 18, 1937, in Brazil, Indiana, to the late Kenneth “Tom” and Thelma (Wyndham) Hutcheson.

Ron graduated from Reelsville High School, where he excelled in basketball, baseball, and track. He was a devoted employee at IBM for 37 years and retired in 1991. Ron enjoyed traveling, especially out west and to Gatlinburg, cheering on the Indianapolis Colts, and eating out. He was especially proud of his grandchildren and looked forward to their visits. Ron’s memory will be cherished by his loving family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Gereld and Jim Hutcheson.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Jenny (Langdon) Hutcheson, to whom he was united in marriage June 27, 1979; children, Robin Hutcheson, Rod Hutcheson, and Amanda (Christopher) LoIudice; grandchildren, Chase (Ashley), Melissa, Tiffany, James, and Claire; five great grandchildren.

According to Ron’s wishes, cremation will take place at the Morgan County Crematory. A private gathering of family and friends will take place on Sunday at the Carlisle – Branson Funeral Service & Crematory, Mooresville.
