Ronald J. Wilson, 64, Brooklyn, a lifelong Morgan County resident, passed away on May 16, 2024.   Ron was born September 23, 1959, in Martinsville, to the late Edward and Martha (Henry) Wilson.  
 
 Ron graduated from Martinsville High School in 1978 and married his wife of 46 years, Myra (Towe) Wilson in the same year on November 18.  A talented and detail-oriented man, he worked as a self-employed contractor and an installer for the Countertop Shop for the past 15 years.  Ron was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting deer, turkey, and mushrooms.  He also loved fishing and always looked forward to the family fishing trips to Minnesota.  Often described as the nicest man you could ever meet, Ron was friendly, outgoing, caring, and generous.  He had a special bond with his beagle, Roxy May, who brought much joy to Ron’s life.   
 
 In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Doyle Wilson.  
 
 Survivors include his loving wife, Myra; brothers, Danny (Theresa) Wilson and Charles (Pam) Wilson; sister, Audrey (Steve) Baire; and a host of nieces and nephews who meant the world to Ron.
